Just wanted to let you know your website is greatly appreciated here; the images and articles are endlessly fascinating. Having just read the first part of Newberry's "Pandora's Box" essay, I was trying to muster some sense of moral indignation at the destructive and nihilistic pomo mindset which manifested itself in Rauschenberg's "Erased De Kooning"... but upon further reflexion, I couldn't help but think that erasing a De Kooning is anything but a step in the right direction!
Anyway, keep it coming. The ARC website is such a wonderful resource, I almost feel guilty enjoying all this for free. But if I had to make a constructive suggestion, I would ask that the works could be searched by theme or genre; I work almost exclusively with nude figures in the studio, and would love to be able to search ARC for "nudes" without having to sift through so many landscapes, still lifes and formal portraits to find them. No criticism here, just a wish. Best to you always,
Pat
