Even though I would not qualify for your scholarship awards, I wanted to let you know how glad I am that you are encouraging and promoting the classical modality of artist training. I hope that your foray into this area succeeds in creating serious consideration of the merits of training under a Master/Mentor. I am a returning 45 year old full time BFA person doing as much studio time as they will let me get away with. I'm only sorry that I didn't consider the idea of trying to find someone locally to apprentice under.
