I think the end of contemporary (aka modern) art will happen when
people cease to be intimidated by the "experts" (gallery owners, professors,
etc.) and realize that at it's core (past the feelings of outrage, of
bewilderment, etc.) that modern art is absolutely boring...tedious, even if
you do understand the artist's intent.
