Begonias and Sunlight by Jim McVicker

This is painted in our yard by the apple trees. A summer painting where I combined the potted begonias I was growing, with my studio table and rug, placed in the yard. Painted over several sessions at the same time each afternoon, I tried to capture the sunlight as it moves across the yard and the still life. I like the combination of a still life idea taken outdoors to paint plein air.
